A 6-WEEK MEN’S GROUP FOR GAY, BI & QUEER MEN

Foundations for Gay Men

Understand how growing up gay in a straight world shaped you, and build the self-trust, confidence and connection to live more freely as yourself.

“The missing manual for gay men we never got growing up.”

Who this is for

You’ve done a lot of work on yourself

Maybe you’ve done therapy, listened to the podcasts, read the books, or spent years trying to understand yourself. You know a lot intellectually. But some of the same patterns still show up in dating, relationships, sex, friendships, confidence, and how you feel about yourself.

Deep Thinkers

Craving deeper, more candid conversations most guys aren’t having about the real challenges of modern gay life.

Real connection with other gay men

Not networking. Not another app. A space where gay men can actually talk about the stuff we usually keep to ourselves.

You want to trust yourself more

You want less second-guessing, comparing and looking outside yourself for validation, and more confidence making decisions based on what actually feels right for you.

What we’ll explore together

Understand how growing up gay in a straight world still affects you today.

Turn down the “not enough” voice that keeps you comparing, performing and proving yourself.

Build self-trust instead of constantly looking outside yourself for validation.

Feel more secure in who you are, including the parts you’ve learned to hide, judge or apologize for.

Create deeper friendships, relationships and emotional intimacy with other men.

Small Group

Maximum 15 men, so there’s enough variety to learn from each other and enough intimacy to actually get to know each other.

More Than a Discussion Group

Each week combines teaching, coaching, discussion, reflection and practical exercises you can use in your actual life.

Private & Confidential

Sessions aren’t recorded, and everyone agrees to clear confidentiality and community agreements before we begin.

What Past Participants Are Saying

I’m still amazed at how much we had in common with our body image stuff. It is really great to know that there is such a nice and sexy group of gay men out there being supportive.

Mark

Nashville, TN

It was a relief, a load taken off, and in its place a community of persons on the same journey but at different stages.

James

Toronto, ON

I could NEVER have been so confident in this dating experiment had it not been for Michael and each one of you who poured your hearts out!

Timothy

Sacramento, CA

Foundations has helped me ‘settle into’ my life as a gay man. I am not alone, and there is a community of support out there.

Hands - About | Wellismo

Hi, I’m Michael

Founder of Wellismo Coaching

I’m a certified life and wellness coach, founder of Wellismo, and co-host of the Gay Men Going Deeper podcast.

I created Foundations because after years of coaching gay men, hosting conversations on the Gay Men Going Deeper podcast, and doing plenty of my own work, I’ve seen the same thing again and again: a lot of what we think is uniquely wrong with us isn’t unique at all.

Growing up gay in a straight world teaches us things about belonging, masculinity, worth, relationships and ourselves, often long before we’re old enough to realize we’re learning them.

Foundations is where we get curious about those patterns together. I’ll bring the coaching, tools and conversations. But some of the most powerful moments won’t come from me. They’ll come from hearing another gay man say something you’ve secretly thought for years and realizing, holy shit, me too.

That’s the kind of gay community I want more of. And that’s what I built Foundations to create.

You don’t have to figure all of this out by yourself.

For six weeks, you’ll join a small group of gay, bi and queer men doing something we don’t get nearly enough opportunities to do: talk honestly about how being gay has shaped us, learn from each other, and practice showing up with more self-trust, confidence and connection.
