How do you measure life fulfillment?

I often hear clients saying:

“My life is fine on paper… but it just doesn’t feel fulfilling.”

I totally get it. I’ve been there.

It’s not like anything specific is wrong, it’s just… off. Like you’re just going through the motions.

My philosophy is that fulfillment isn’t about achieving more- it’s about alignment: being at peace with who you are, connecting with others in meaningful ways, and being intentional about where your energy goes.

Over the years, I’ve developed a framework called the Wellismo Wellness Wheel: a tool I use with clients to measure life fulfillment. It reveals where you’re in alignment… and where you’re not.

It consists of three dimensions: IdentityConnection, and Lifestyle.

Identity: Your relationship with yourself

Common signs something’s off:

  • You have a loud, overbearing inner critic.
  • You’re doing what’s expected, not what you truly want.
  • Your sense of self is wrapped up in what other people think.

Reflection question: Do I genuinely like who I am when no one’s watching?

Try: Write down what you’re proud of yourself for. If it feels uncomfortable, you’re on the right track.

Connection: Your relationships with others

Common signs something’s off:

  • You often feel lonely or disconnected.
  • You have a hard time letting people in.
  • Your relationships feel superficial or unsatisfying.

Reflection question: Who in my life truly knows me, and how good am I at nurturing these relationships?

Try: Reach out to someone you miss or appreciate, just to reconnect. Small acts of vulnerability rebuild connection.

Lifestyle: How you use your time and energy

Common signs something’s off:

  • You’re “fine” but uninspired.
  • You’re busy but not productive.
  • You’re chasing short-term pleasures instead of deeper soul-level satisfaction.

Reflection question: Does my day-to-day routine reflect what actually matters to me?

Try: Identify one thing to stop doing that no longer serves you. Clarity often comes from subtraction, not addition.

Ask yourself

Take a quick self-audit: if you rated Identity, Connection, and Lifestyle from 1–10, which one feels furthest from where you want it to be?

See it more clearly

If this exercise has stirred something within you, I’d be happy to unpack it together in a free 60-minute Discovery Session. We’ll use this framework to do a personalized Life Audit that will help you see what’s working, what’s missing, and what to focus on.

Should you book some time with me, you’ll leave with clarity and direction, regardless of whether we decide to work together.
